We carry out inspections of crane installations and hoist units for you as stipulated by the local regulations.
At the same time, we determine whether the installation is in a safe operating condition at the time of the inspection. The inspection mainly consists of a visual inspection and a function check, comprising the following activities:
- Checking the equipment of the installation for compliance with the data in the test and inspection booklet
- Checking the condition of components and equipment regarding damage, wear, corrosion or any other changes
- Checking the safety devices and brakes to ensure they are complete and effective
- Function and brake test with a load that is the range of the maximum permissible load capacity
- Checking name plates and signs to ensure they are complete
- Documentation of test results. Any defects found are documented in the inspection report
- Assessment whether there are any objections against putting the unit into operation or allowing further operation
- Decision regarding the necessity of another inspection
- Applying a label specifying the month of the next inspection
- Final discussions
