Double-girder suspension cranes can also be designed as manipulator cranes using KBK ergo components. They can be designed to meet the exact needs of the relevant loads, processes and production conditions.
Manipulator Cranes
The Ergo components are designed to accommodate upward forces due to offset loadings and cantilevered manipulator arms. As the Ergo components are engineered to operate with the KBKI, II-L, or II rail profiles, they provide the same smooth running characteristics of the Classic systems which allow you to finely position your products of subassemblies.
The manipulator arm allows the operator to precisely position a load within the confines of the suspended portion of the crane or outside the crane suspension area without the worry of the system producing undo forces to the building support steel.
The smooth running characteristics of the Classic trolleys in also incorporated in the design of the Ergo style trolleys there the operator can precisely position the load at higher operating speeds thus optimizing the system efficiency.
